We have put together this collection of music to help our B'nei Mitzvah students, and anyone else interested, as a teaching tool. The melodies below include those generally used for the Friday night Kiddush, for many of the prayers in our Shabbat Morning services, and also the Torah and Haftarah Trope.
By clicking on the individual track, or using the navigation buttons you can listen to each of the tracks indivdually. If you have problems playing them, click on the word 'mp3' next to each track, you can also right-click on the 'mp3' link if you wold like to download that track.
(You can ignore the link for .oga, this file format is needed so you can listen to them on this webpage but you only need to save the mp3 file to listen on your own computer when not online)
If you would like to download all the tracks so you can listen to the tracks any time or add them to your iPod, you can do so here - right-click here to download the tracks as a rar file
Please note, at present there is a problem seeing the playlist if using Internet Explorer...we would advise using Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
- To open the rar file simply download the file and double click on the .rar files once completely downloaded
- On Windows you might be asked to 'extract' the files - pick a location (such as your downloads folder or desktop) and extrack them
- On Macs once double clicked they should extract automatically
- To import into iTunes simply highlight all the files and drag them into your iTunes program - they will also play in any media player capable of playing .mp3 files
