Spring Gala: A Staged Affair

Please click the image above to RSVP for ‘A Staged Affair’. Also to learn more about the playwrights, directors, and cast.

Bet Ha’am’s annual Spring Gala, A Staged Affair, will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024. This in-person and virtual event will be a wonderful evening of socializing and entertainment showcasing dramatic readings of six ten-minute Jewish plays from across the nation. The event will start at 6:45 with Havdalah and then at 7:00 there will be a social hour with cash bar and passed hors d’oeuvres. The evening’s program begins at 8:00 with a break for dessert. Our raffle drawing will conclude the evening.

There are several ways for you to support A Staged Affair. The Host Committee is made up of people who contribute the seed money for the event with a fully tax deductible donation of $250. Host Committee members will be named and thanked in Gala email blasts and the event program and will receive two complimentary event tickets. We are also asking our dedicated supporters to be part of the virtual Head Table with an extra $250 donation to help offset the cost of the catering. Members of the combined Head Table and Host Committee will receive 4 complimentary tickets for the event.

This year’s event tickets will be $50 per individual and $100 per couple. Zoom household virtual tickets are $36.

We are also featuring our Spring Gala Raffle which will be done differently this year. For $118 you can purchase a 1/100 chance for a $4,000 cash prize and for $18 you can purchase an unlimited chance for a $1000 cash prize.

The Event Committee is hoping that you will choose to generously support A Staged Affair. Last year we raised $25,000 for Bet Ha’am programming and we hope to do as well if not better this year.
