TESTIMONIALS
“I just wanted to reach out and thank you and Congregation Bet Ha’am for hosting us yesterday. Our program was very successful, and a number of people specifically mentioned how wonderful the space was. Between the beautiful room, the artwork from children and members of your congregation, and the incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere, it felt like the perfect place for funders and nonprofits to gather to talk about early education. You and your staff were also incredibly welcoming and accommodating (even with our crazy last-minute numbers). Thank you!

“We just had the great pleasure of hosting a professional development seminar for Maine nonprofits at Congregation Bet Ha’am in South Portland. When I initially researched venue options, I had a list of ideal characteristics but I didn’t realistically expect to find a place that met all of our needs. I was looking for a beautiful space that could accommodate up to 300 people, provide catering, and with an A/V set up that was ideally a nonprofit organization as well. When the proposal from Bet Ha’am arrived, I knew we found our place! From our very first communication, they eased my mind as they thought of every detail and were easy to reach with every last question that came up. They accommodated our growing RSVP list, provided a delicious vegetarian meal, and included special touches like large vases of sunflowers. They went above and beyond as Karen jumped in the day of the event to help me set up 300 pens, pads of paper, handouts and gave me extra supplies when I ran out. Guests were able to eat lunch in the gardens and numerous people mentioned that the light filled sanctuary made it bearable to be inside on a beautiful summer day. This is a phenomenal alterative to a more generic corporate meeting space and we were so pleased with our experience at Bet Ha’am.”

“The Great Rooms at Congregation Bet Ha’am offered modern elegance and reverence that we were looking for to host a retirement celebration. The facility was spotless and the staff was wonderful to work with as we planned our event. We hope others can enjoy it as much as we did!”
